The new RAVO 4-Series are not only a clean machine, he is also strong and multi-purpose. The machine has been built on proved successful platform of the RAVO 3-Series and available in both standard tipping and high dump versions.
In spite of the small outside half-measures the performances are impressive. The 4-Series provide the RAVO in 2 m3-segment performances which you expect of a machine in 4-5 m3-segment. With its royal payload and large net container volume provide the RAVO 4-series uncontested highest pay-load in its class.
State-of-the-art
The RAVO 4-Series are a driving show case of most modern clean technology. The new electric machine system has equipped with data bus technology, the dashboard and the instruments have been revised. Moreover the renewed cabin interior cab interior offers extra space.

High Pressure water pump
A high-pressure water pump with a spray gun and 10- metre hose on a selfwinding reel. The pump can supply 15 litres a minute at a maximum pressure of 150 bar.
Air suspended seat
It means a compressed air suspension Full Adjustment operator seat with backrest adjustable to any need.
Third brush
Fitted to the front of the machine, the hydraulically adjustable third broom allows you to sweep the road and pavement at the same time. It is equipped with an additional guard and its own water-spraying facility, and can also be used as a weed cutter broom.
Catch basin cleaner /heavy duty wander hose
This will substantially increase the opportunities you have to use the machine as a sludge gulping/leaf-suction installation. This is equipped with a nozzle and connected to the spaywatersystem.
Camera system
A monitor in the cabin enables the driver to see what is happening behind the vehicle. This improves safety during manoeuvres. The monitor can be delivered in black and white or colour. A blind-spot version is also available. Camera can be mounted on the backside, side (L/R) or on the suction mouth.
Other options
Every RAVO is a custom made machine and therefore in addition to above mentioned options we also offer you a wide selection of other options, for instance:
- warning stripes on the rear cover (to improve visibility for vehicles behind the sweeper);
- heated exterior mirrors (for good visibility in all weather conditions);
- rotating and flashing lights (to stand out and be seen);
- and working lights (which increase the oppertunities for using the machine -even working in the dark is possible).

For this reason, the RAVO 4-Series is equipped with the latest, most modern CNG engine from IVECO. CNG, Compressed Natural Gas, reduces CO2 emissions and creates almost no emissions of particles and nitrogen oxides.
In addition, the CNG engine, which meets the strict EU-EEV emission standards, is sustainable in its energy consumption.

And this has enabled us to ensure that there is a suitable solution available worldwide for the most wide-ranging cleaning issues.
CNG and Compact
The RAVO 4-Series has an unique combination: a compact sweeping machine fitted with an environmentally friendly CNG engine, without this having any negative effects on the loading capacity. The RAVO 4 series has a loading capacity of 2.9 tonnes. The 3.0-litre Iveco engine has been specially designed for CNG fuel, and is therefore distinguished by its economical use of CNG. The four-cylinder, 16-valve Iveco turbo engine generates 136 bhp (100 kW) and 350 Nm of torque.
The action radius of the CNG compact sweeper has no limitations when compared to a diesel equivalent. The economic machine is equipped with four 102-litre tanks, which are fitted on the roof. Thanks to the quick-fill system, these can be filled in approximately 10 minutes.

Safety
The safety of the CNG Compact Sweeper starts with the fact that natural gas is lighter than air, and therefore immediately rises and is absorbed into the atmosphere. In addition, CNG is only inflammable at extremely high temperatures (> 600oC).
The components and installation of the CNG sweeping machine do comply with the extremely strict ECE R110 standard. The natural gas tanks are resistant to high temperatures and shock loads, for example, so that they have no negative impact whatsoever on the safety of the vehicle.
EEV classification
Natural gas is an exceptionally clean fuel. No smoke, particles or smells are created during combustion, while the noise emissions are lower than those of a comparable diesel engine. Thanks to the fact that the emission values are considerably below the limits set in the Euro 4 and Euro 5 standards, the RAVO 4-Series with CNG engine is identified as an ecologically responsible vehicle which complies with the EEV (Enhanced Environmental Vehicle) classification under European law. Thanks to this EEV classification, the vehicle may be eligible for subsidies and tax benefits.
